When it comes to window blinds, you have three primary mounting options: flush inside mount, partial inside mount, and outside mount. If you choose the OUTSIDE MOUNT option, your blind will be installed outside the window frame. The valance, which will clip to the top rail of the blind, will extend beyond the window frame and connect to both 3.5-inch return/side pieces. The ends of the valance and side pieces will be cut at a 45-degree angle to ensure a proper right-angle attachment.

Our outside mount blinds come with a decorative valance and two return side pieces. The valance attaches easily with clips, providing a polished and cohesive look to your window treatment.

To ensure a proper fit, it's essential to measure the window accurately. Here's how to do it: 1. Measure the width in three places: top, middle, and bottom. Use the widest width when placing your order. 2. Add 3 to 4 inches to the width for an outside mount. 3. Measure the height similarly and add an additional 3 to 4 inches to ensure full coverage.

It's important to note that we do not take any deductions in the width for outside mount blinds.
