To PROPERLY MEASURE for an outside mount, we recommend the following steps: 1. Measure the width in three places - top, middle, and bottom - and use the widest measurement when ordering. 2. Add 3 to 4 inches to the width to ensure full coverage outside the frame. 3. Measure the height in a similar fashion and add an additional 3 to 4 inches. Please note that we do not take any deductions in the width for outside mounts.
